Rules for Requests

1. Be as clear as possible when making a request. Avoid being overly elaborate; no artist can capture every detail perfectly, and an extensive list of specifications can be overwhelming.
2. Please remember to ask politely when requesting a signature or avatar; it's important not to make demands. Additionally, kindly wait at least two days for a response before bumping up the thread again. Thank you!
3. There will be guidelines on the appropriate waiting period for an artist, so please refrain from pestering someone who has generously committed their time to create something for you.
4. While it's rare, you are entitled to request another artist to create a signature or avatar for you if you're dissatisfied or would like more options. Please make sure to specify your desire to have another artist take on your request only after you have received your completed order. If you choose not to make this request, kindly close the thread yourself; otherwise, I (Salya) will take care of it for you.
5. When an artist creates a graphic for you, it is essential to host it on your own server. Relying on the artist's hosting server can lead to bandwidth limitations being exceeded, which may result in the loss of your custom graphic. It's important to remember that the responsibility for any loss of the graphic lies solely with you, not the artist.
6. If an artist completes a graphic for you and you do not respond within 14 days, despite my (Salya's) repeated attempts to prompt a reply, I will proceed to close your request thread.
7. Kindly reserve requests for avatars and signatures for special occasions only—such as Elyasia's Festvibration, Halloween, and similar events—in this thread!
8. Please understand that many artists are fulfilling requests to practice and refine their graphic skills. It's essential to be polite and understanding if the graphic doesn’t perfectly align with your expectations. Everyone is putting forth their best effort!

Rules for Artists/Designers

1. When you mention that you'll be handling a request for a graphic, please specify if contributions from others are welcome. If you do not specify your preference, it will be assumed that others are free to take on the task as well.
2. Don't take offense if a requester isn't a fan of your signature or avatar style. Everyone has their own preferences.
3. When you announce on a thread that you will create a signature or avatar, you have three days to complete it before someone else can step in, regardless of whether you invited others to try. If you have an estimate of how long it will take, please share that information in the thread as soon as possible.
4. Regarding the use of Fan Art: We don't entirely prohibit its inclusion in graphics, but we strongly encourage users to conduct comprehensive research to identify the original creator of the artwork and honor their contributions. When an artist explicitly requests that their work not be utilized by others, it is crucial to honor their wishes.

This section is exclusively designated for requests related to signatures, avatars, bumpers, and roleplay banners intended for use on the Elyasia Forums. For all other graphic requests, especially those related to external sites, please submit your inquiries in this thread using the [Request] tag.
