.:So what if he's cold-hearted:.
.:one-shot:.

She strolled through the frigid kingdom, her black jacket pulled tightly around her. Though she despised the snow, she was reluctant to leave, captivated by the one person everyone warned her against. With a sigh, she paused and gazed up at the heavy clouds. "So bored..." she mused.

She exhaled deeply once more and began to walk with purpose. She was well aware of her destination and the reality that she was being followed. Her hand rested firmly on the hilt of her sword, a secret weapon that remained unknown to everyone, even him.

After a few moments, the persistent feeling of being followed began to irritate her. She turned around and squinted. "Albel?"

The man she was deeply in love with, despite being warned against it, was Albel Nox—her bodyguard. With little to occupy him and no tasks from the King, he found solace in the company of the young princess. Though he never voiced his feelings, he was surprisingly content to stay close to her.

He shot her a piercing glance. “Princess, where are you headed?” His expression and tone revealed his irritation about something.

She let out a sigh, longing for Fayt to whisk Albel away for some reason, yet her hopes remained unfulfilled. Stepping back slightly, she found herself staring into his crimson eyes, causing her to flinch. “Um... my hiding place...” she whispered softly.

Albel regarded her thoughtfully for a moment. "A hiding place, is it?"

She nodded, “It’s warm...” In her mind, she added, ‘And you have no idea where it is.’ As she spoke, she pressed herself against the wall of a building that appeared to be an ordinary house, her secret hiding spot.

He approached her, leaning closer as he pressed his clawed hand against the wall beside her head. With the other hand, he gently brushed a strand of her golden hair. "Why are you hiding?" he asked, his voice a mix of curiosity and concern.

She felt a slight flush at the unexpected intimacy, a feeling she thought she'd be accustomed to by now. “I, uh... upset Cliff,” she stammered, hoping he would take the hint and leave her alone. She was chilled to the bone and craving the warmth of painting the very pictures he despised.

He smirked slightly. “So you’ve angered that worm. A foolish move, Princess.”

She hesitated slightly, her voice a mix of surprise and uncertainty. “Um... Albel-kins...”

He recoiled as the smirk vanished from his lips. He loathed that nickname as much as he despised boredom. Leaning in close to her, he pressed his lips against hers, delivering a deep and passionate kiss.

Her eyes momentarily widened at the kiss before gently closing as he deepened it. While she sensed his gaze upon her, it hardly mattered at that moment.

He gazed at her face as he pressed his lips against hers. Gently releasing her hair, he traced his fingers from her cheek down to her neck, recalling the way he had bitten her just a few nights prior.

She pouted slightly as he pulled away from the kiss, a blush creeping onto her cheeks at the touch of his fingers on her neck. “A-Albel...”

“Hm?” He gazed at her flushed face, pondering deeply. He couldn't quite grasp why he had fallen for her of all people. She was a foolish princess, not even from his planet, nor truly a princess in his eyes. The very thought irked him, yet miraculously, she had a way of soothing his troubled spirit.

She tilted her head, a hint of confusion evident as she processed the kiss and his unwavering gaze fixed upon her. Tentatively, she reached up, placing her icy hand against his even colder cheek while her other hand rested on the metal armor of his clawed gauntlet. “Are you okay?” she asked softly.

He blinked slightly, pulling away from her touch as if it startled him. “I'm fine,” he replied, then turned, muttering something under his breath. Glancing back over his shoulder at her, he added, “Find your hiding place and warm up. I'm heading home.” With that, he walked away, a faint blush evident on his cheeks.

With a sigh, she pushed herself away from the wall and turned towards the house, shutting the door behind her. She made her way over to the fireplace, where her friend, who always kept a fire lit, had created a warm and inviting blaze.
-_-_-

After a few hours, the door swung open to reveal a young man with long black hair. His midnight blue eyes swept over the sleeping girl, accompanied by a heavy sigh. “Lynn, you truly are a foolish princess, just as Albel calls you,” he murmured as he approached her. Unknown to her, he hailed from her home planet and had come to safeguard her. Regrettably, he was also her cousin on her mother's side. He knelt beside her, gently lifted her into his arms, and made his way to the room he had prepared for her.

Unbeknownst to her, he had revealed to Albel the location of his house, where his princess often sought refuge. With a heavy sigh, he gently placed her on the bed and tucked the covers around her. “I’m sorry for telling him, but it was a choice between secrets and survival,” he whispered in her ear before rising and quietly exiting the room, shutting the door behind him.
-_-_-_-

Moments later, Albel entered the room, closing the door behind him. He observed her as she turned onto her side, softly muttering something about Fayt being a fool. A smirk played on his lips, realizing he was imparting lessons she hadn't even known she was learning.

He approached her sleeping form and softly knelt on the bed, his heart racing as she turned onto her stomach, uttering a faint murmur. This time, her words mentioned Fayt's feelings for Albel, causing him to tense up. Leaning closer, he pressed his hands on the mattress beside her head, inching near her ear as he whispered, “I have no interest in that foolish princess.”

Her eyes flew open to find Albel's claw mere inches from her face. A blush quickly spread across her cheeks and nose as the realization hit her: he was hovering over her. She could feel the warmth of his chest lightly pressing against her back. “A-Albel... H-how?” she stammered, her eyes closing tightly once more.

He smirked slightly. “Your naive cousin mentioned you were here,” he whispered, gently grazing his tongue over the bite mark on her shoulder.

She flushed a vibrant crimson and attempted to sit upright, only to find she couldn't. “K-Kan... isn’t foolish; he just understands the connection we share.”

Albel recoiled slightly, consumed by disbelief. "How could that fool have found out? This secret was never meant to see the light of day," he fumed silently as he distanced himself and sank onto the bed, irritation simmering within him.

Lynn propped herself up and shifted her gaze towards him. With a soft sigh, she turned and climbed out from under the covers, doing something few would dare. She encircled his neck with her arms as she knelt before him. “I’m sorry, Albel, but... Kan has an uncanny ability to read people,” she whispered, fully aware of the impending pain his reaction might bring.

But he didn't. For the first time, he allowed her to speak as he fixed his gaze on the door. “You've got some real fools in your family,” he murmured softly, resting a hand on her arm while his other hand/claw remained on the bed.

She offered a faint smile. “As far as I know, I agree with that sentiment. My entire family is foolish, even if my memories of them are hazy.” With that, she rested her chin gently on his head.

Suddenly, he grabbed her arm and pulled her onto his lap, leaving her momentarily stunned. A sly smirk played on his lips as he swiftly pinned her down onto the bed. “What to do…” he murmured, leaning in to kiss her neck.

Her cheeks flushed a deep crimson. “A-Albel... Are you going to do what you did last night?” she stammered, wishing fervently that he wouldn’t consider it. The pain from the previous encounter still lingered within her. An unsettling smirk spread across his face as his claw glided down her body, tearing through her clothes with each wicked movement.

She pouted slightly, her cheeks still flushed. She had a fondness for the black dress he was altering.

He nibbled on her neck while systematically tearing her dress apart with his claw, effortlessly discarding the remnants with his other hand. Gradually, he sliced along the sides of her panties, peeling them away and leaving her exposed.

She flushed a deeper crimson and shut her eyes as the icy metal grazed her warm hip. The contrast between the cold steel and the warm air only intensified the sensation.

He skillfully maneuvered her legs apart, while intensifying his focus on her most sensitive area. He felt a surge of satisfaction knowing her foolish cousin was absent. It almost seemed as if Albel had orchestrated the scene to pin down his cousin, and if that was the case, the plan was undeniably effective.

With a gentle caress, he ran his fingers from one hand down her side, then, with a sudden intensity, he pushed two fingers into her eagerly.

A soft moan escaped her lips as she instinctively parted her legs wider.

Albel grinned against her neck, his fingers dancing playfully. "Foolish princess, why are you always so eager?"

Lynn's cheeks flushed a vibrant crimson as she let out a soft moan. She attempted to turn her head away, but Albel gently redirected her with his claw, capturing her lips in a passionate kiss.

He kissed her passionately, withdrawing his fingers just long enough to shed his clothes. Once bare, he leaned in for another deep kiss, this time entwining their tongues as he slowly entered her.

She flushed with warmth, entwining her arms around his neck while releasing a soft moan into the kiss.

He pulled away from the kiss, gradually pushing deeper while letting out soft moans. His hands gripped her hips, driving him further into her. Unbeknownst to him, his sharp fingers grazed her skin, leaving behind slight marks of blood.

She cried out, sensation overwhelming her as he filled her completely, the sting of her fresh cuts intensifying her response. “A-Albel... your claw...” she gasped, struggling to communicate the pain his claw had caused on her hip.

He withdrew his claw from her hip and savored the taste of her blood on his fingers, intensifying his thrusts with greater force.

She winced slightly, letting out a moan. "S-so wrong..."

He grinned with a mischievous glint in his eye. "Don't forget, I'm a bad boy."
-_-_- f.f. Some... -_-_-

She lay in bed, Albel sleeping peacefully behind her, his arms wrapped protectively around her. An hour into their intimate moment, she convinced him to remove his claw, as she bore not only the scars of recent cuts on her hip but also along her side. Despite the blood she had lost and the hours they had spent together, her love for him remained strong—though her feelings toward his claw were less favorable. With a soft sigh, she nestled closer to his chest, a light blush creeping onto her cheeks as she recalled their current state—exposed yet hidden beneath a mountain of covers.

A subtle shiver ran through her as his arms tightened around her, drawing her nearer to him. Glancing up at his peaceful sleeping face, she caught his murmured words: “Fools...”

She let out a quiet sigh. "What a weirdo," she mused as she drifted off to sleep, her exhaustion overwhelming her. The soreness in places that shouldn't hurt only added to her fatigue, yet nestled in his arms, she felt an undeniable sense of safety that made the discomfort seem insignificant.
