Amara and Rath's Tale
This story is rated R for explicit sexual situations (yaoi and chan)
The green mage stood up and walked to the boy, towering over him. Calfor tugged at the boy's clothes, trying to get him to kneel in front of the Master, but the boy was frozen.
"Let him alone!" JungSo told her. "I like his spirit."
Then he picked the boy up, lifting him to shoulder height. "You will be perfect! You will be schooled and trained until you are flawless! Such a beautiful boy! I look forward to watching you go into a beautiful young man."
Still carrying the boy, the mage walked out of the room with Calfor scurrying behind. He went up wide, winding stairs to the topmost floor where a wide balcony looked over the lands. "This is your home now." He gestured across the lands. "I rule all of this and you will be by my side. You will be my special pet."
Yuli was not sure what that meant. What was a "special pet"? Was this green-haired man adopting him as if he was his son? No, the mage did not say "son" -- he said "pet."
"What is the boy's name?" JungSo asked Calfor.
"It is Yuli, my Lord." She replied from her kneeling position at his feet.
"That is a horrid name! We need to change it immediately!" The mage thought for a few minutes. "Rath -- no, longer. More formal. Rathamaru! Your name is now Rathamaru. You will answer only to that name. Do you understand?"
Yuli shook his head. What was wrong with his name?
JungSo's eyes darkened to a deep forest green and his mouth grew grim. "Never disobey me! Never question me! With one word, one command, I can wipe out your entire clan -- your parents -- everyone you ever knew! Do you want me to do that?"
Yuli burst into tears, and stammered a small "no."
"Good boy!" JungSo smiled and held the boy up high in the air. "My beautiful, special Rathamaru! You are the sheath to my sword!"
He set the boy down and motioned for Calfor to rise. "Take him to the tailor so that clothes can be made for him. The finest silks! But always variants of white! With his dark hair, he must always be in white. Do not cut his hair -- I want it long. Go to the teaching masters and have them begin classes. I want him to learn everything! Languages, writing, reading, mathematics, geography. And etiquette. Teach him how to eat properly. Not like some low-class demon! Teach him well, Calfor. Your life depends on it."
Calfor bowed deeply and took Rathamaru's hand, pulling him away. "Come with me, young master."
"And, Calfor?" JungSo stopped her. "I want him bathed every morning at the third bell."
"Yes, my Lord." Then Calfor escaped with her new charge.
The rest of the day was a blur to Yuli -- he had to remember that was no longer his name! -- taken to one person after another. Measured for clothes, told about classes and table manners. How was he supposed to remember all of this?
Finally the day was over and Calfor took him to his room and tucked the exhausted little boy in. "You pleased the Master very much. Always obey him and he will be content with you."
"Can he really kill my family?"
"Oh, yes! With but a word. He is the most powerful mage in the lands! Never, never, think to disobey him. Do whatever he tells you do without question!" Then Calfor turned down the lamp until there was only a faint glow and left Rathamaru alone. He still didn't understand why the mage was doing this -- what did he expect to gain? Even at his young age, he had learned that an enemy does not treat you kindly unless he wants something. And he considered JungSo an enemy -- not just because he torn from his family -- because of the look in those cold green eyes.
The next morning, Rathamaru was taken first to the dining area for breakfast. It was an ordeal. His fingers were slapped each time he tried to pick up food instead of using a spoon or a fork. His fangs were no longer for tearing meat -- knives were used instead. Finally, he finished eating, his fingers reddened and sore from the many firm taps he had been given.
Calfor stood up and took him to the bathing area -- the same one that he used yesterday. But today, the room was not empty. Sitting in a chair drawn up to the water's edge was JungSo. He was dressed in soft green silk, magnificently embroidered with dragons and phoenixes. He smiled when Rathamaru was brought in.
"My sweet pet!" the mage exclaimed. Calfor brought the boy to the mage and JungSo bent down to kiss his forehead.
Then she undressed him, with JungSo watching every move, and took him into the pool. Carefully she washed him and then at a gesture from JungSo, washed him again, making sure that every part of him was completely clean.
"Sit him down in front of me." JungSo commanded, pointed to the edge of the water. She nodded and sat the boy down, facing the mage.
"Open your legs for me, my Sweet." The mage purred, his voice like honey.
Rathamaru looked at Calfor, and she nodded. He could almost hear her thoughts: obey him or your family will die. He open his legs, spreading them wide.
"Hold yourself up for me, my Pet."
Rathamaru had no idea what he meant. Hold what up? Calfor took his small hand and cupped it around his small sac, positioning his hand so that his boyish penis leaned against it, holding it up.
There was a strange glitter in JungSo's eyes as he watched the boy. He licked his lips.
"Leave us," he said to Calfor, his voice suddenly hoarse. Calfor bowed deeply and left, a strange sad look on her face.
"Stay just like that, my Sweet." JungSo commanded.
Rathamaru sat there in the water, one hand holding himself, trying not to look into those terrible green eyes.
After a few minutes, JungSo slipped a hand inside his silks.
