Arc 01
Arc 01 continues the multi-generational slice-of-life history of the dual realms under Mira (South) and Lyra (North), spanning several centuries of quieter decades after the foundational wars. It opens with an injured wanderer in the forbidden Bone Woods and quickly centers on Sinta, a four-tailed fox from the Demon Realm who fled the shadow of his twin Youko Kurama. His path leads him into the Southern household as a knight and companion, while flashbacks and parallel threads explore Chrono’s truths, untold family histories, a wolf demon, and the complicated fox dynamics that bind the guards to their princesses. Northern scenes interweave young Lyra’s playful days with Lira, Rain, Kai, and Ryan, establishing the close-knit protective circles that surround both rulers.
Midway through the chapters the focus broadens to other demon and dragon lineages: the tragic Heei story involving Hiei, Kurama, Rose, and a newborn; ice-demon brothers whose rare crystals become part of the realm’s quiet lore; Sinta’s recovery and return south; and long stretches of hard-won peace in which the princesses read about the Demon Realm’s four lords, train, and simply live. Winter arrives with Lyra delighting in the snow while Mira prefers the warmth indoors; hunting accidents and everyday mishaps test the guardians without shattering the balance. Later chapters introduce the reclusive white dragon Sakyrrainth discovered by Sinta in the southern mountains, the green dragon Jin in the Spirit Woods, the quiet mage Tsukasa’s return to Mira’s side, winged figures such as Gin and Kard, and finally Vergil (operating as Gilver in the Human Realm) who rescues a scarred young girl named Yuki from her human captors.
Across all twenty chapters the narrative remains intimate rather than epic: the dual female rule holds, the portals stay mostly quiet, and the story dwells on the bonds between princesses and their chosen companions—foxes, dragons, ice demons, mages, and ravens—whose personal histories, quiet affections, and occasional dangers continue to shape the four linked realms.
